What is the principle of automotive wire harness welding

author:tap:280 Release time:2023-09-19

Automotive wire harness welding work is to select a short path between the electrical connection, and a number of wires in the same path with insulation tape wrapped.

1. The working principle of automotive wire harness welding: to make the whole car line regular, convenient installation and maintenance of wire insulation. In addition to high-voltage lines, battery cables and starter cables, wires of different specifications in the same area are generally wrapped into bundles with insulating materials such as cotton yarn or thin polyvinyl chloride plastic tape.

2. Car wires are copper multi-core flexible wires, some soft wires are as thin as hair, several or even dozens of soft copper wires are wrapped in plastic insulated tubes (polyvinyl chloride), soft and not easy to break. Due to the particularity of the automotive industry, the manufacturing process of automotive wiring harnesses is also more special than that of other ordinary wiring harnesses. Automobile wiring harness is the main body of automobile circuit network, and there is no automobile circuit without wiring harness. Wire harness refers to a component of a connection circuit that is bound by a wire harness after a contact terminal made of copper is crimped with a wire and cable, and then plasticized an insulator or an external metal shell. Wire harness industry chain includes wire and cable, adapter, processing equipment, wire harness manufacturing and downstream application industry, wire harness application is very common, can be used in automobiles, household appliances, computers and communication equipment, various electronic instruments and other aspects, the body wire harness connected to the entire body, roughly H-shaped.

3. Classification of automotive wire harness welding. Starter harness: connect the various sensors and actuators on the starter and coil around the starter. Instrument panel wiring harness: connect with the body or chassis wiring harness, walk along the pipe beam to connect various electrical components on the instrument panel such as combined instruments, air conditioning switches, radio and cassette players, cigarette lighters, etc. Body wiring harness: usually walks from the left side of the cab against the floor, connecting the fuel tank sensor and the rear taillight. Door wiring harness: Connect all electrical parts on the inner panel of the door, such as central lock, glass elevator, speaker, etc. Front wiring harness: From the cab, along the fender and front bumper frame to connect the front electrical components such as side turn signals and front combination lights, horns, electronic fans, etc.
